Rockford Public Library is laying off workers and closing branches, claiming financial shortfall, all while failing to even apply for the many grants and opportunities available to them during this pandemic crisis. Workers have proposed many financial savings and revenue generating ideas but the Library Board continues to move forward with cutting vital services that are so critical to our community, now more than ever. Please join a community speak out and voice your opinion.
